6 Advices for Employers in Performance Appraisal

Some advice for employers for performance appraisal
It is not easy for employers to assess their employees' capacities so exactly that they feel comfortable and admit their mistakes for correction.
Here are some tips to help employers in assessing results of work efficiently and still make their employees satisfied.
1. When talking about work results of employees, you should say: "I see that your work result has not reached standards" in stead of saying: "you are in deed working your work, aren't you?"
2. Give specific reasons and proves. For example, "I expected the sales of this month would be 100 but the fact is just 80".
3. Send the work result to the direct supervisor of that employee so that they can reconsider and reassess carefully before giving it out at the meeting.
4. Focus on important information rather than the list of what they didn't do well. Because all of that was due to that employee's carelessness. Hence, what should be said to this employee is to remind him about the way he did.
5. Another important thing is to explain to that employee where his work is bad or sub-standard at and tell about its bad consequences to the company.
6. The assessment of employees should be made regularly, once a month or a quarter if possible. Because if you do it once a year, the result of assessment may be not accurate and this way does not help employees to correct their mistakes soon. Hence, a monthly or quarterly meeting will help you to know what your employees are doing and who needs improvements.
